10 Worst Jokes About Winter

What do you call a snowman who’s always asking questions? A Snow-it-all.

A snowstorm knocked out my Wi-Fi, and for a moment I wanted to pretend I was one of those rugged outdoorsy types. Then I remembered rugged people don’t cry when Netflix stops buffering.

I told my friend I slipped on the ice yesterday. He said, “That’s what happens when you try to skate without skates.” I said, “No, that’s what happens when you try to walk with dignity.”

What did the icy sidewalk say to the pedestrian?
“Slip happens.”

A snowman applied for a job. The interviewer asked, “What’s your greatest strength?” The snowman said, “I’m outstanding in my field.”

I saw a squirrel digging in the snow, and it looked at me like it knew I wasn’t prepared for winter either. We shared a moment of mutual panic before it scampered off to judge someone else.

I made a cup of hot chocolate, and for six glorious minutes, everything was perfect.
Then I stood up, spilled half of it on my socks, and remembered who I truly am.

The snowplow left a four-foot snow wall at the end of my driveway. I’m considering turning it into a castle and declaring independence from the rest of the neighborhood.

I tried to jog in the cold, but after two minutes my lungs sounded like creaky door hinges. I decided fitness could wait until April or possibly 2047.

I asked the ski instructor if I was improving. He said I was going downhill fast.

I bought one of those hand warmers, and now I rely on it more emotionally than physically.
It’s the closest thing to a supportive relationship I’ve had all winter.

My mailbox froze shut, which honestly feels like the universe protecting me from bills.
Winter is harsh, but sometimes it’s merciful.

My neighbor spent three hours building an elaborate snowman family in his front yard – a dad, mom, two kids, even a snow dog. That night it rained and the next morning they were just puddles. His actual family came outside, looked at the yard, and his wife said, “Well, that’s basically what happens to all families eventually.” He hasn’t built a snowman since.

My neighbor bragged about loving the cold, which is suspicious behavior in my opinion.
No one should be that excited about weather that hurts your face.

How does a snowman flirt? He gives you the cold shoulder… then warms up with a hug.

I went to a winter survivalist training course last year. The instructor kept saying “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.” So on the last day, I showed up in a Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops. Turns out there is such a thing as bad students, and I was no longer welcome.

My wife opens the bedroom window every winter “just a crack” for fresh air.
When I asked why we can’t close it, she said, “Cold air improves sleep quality.”
I said, “Does it also improve marriage quality? Because right now I’m spooning the radiator.”

I decided to start winter bird watching as a hobby. Spent $200 on binoculars, a guide book, and warm gear. Went out every morning for a week. Saw exactly three pigeons and a plastic bag that I followed for ten minutes thinking it was a rare bird.

My gym has a sauna, and in winter the parking lot becomes this bizarre social experiment. People sprint from their cars in tank tops and shorts through sub-zero temperatures to get to the sauna. We’re literally running through winter to sit in artificial summer. Evolution did not prepare us for this level of irony.

My car’s “winter emergency kit” that I put together in November is basically just a confession that I’ve given up. There’s a blanket, some granola bars, a flashlight with dead batteries, and a note that says “I’m sorry” to whoever finds me. My wife found it and said, “This is the most ‘you’ thing I’ve ever seen.” Not sure how to take that.

Every year I tell myself I’m going to embrace winter and try a new snow sport. Last year I tried snowshoeing. I made it about 200 feet before I realized I was just walking slowly while looking ridiculous.

I signed up for a winter photography class to take beautiful pictures of snow-covered landscapes. The instructor kept talking about “golden hour” and “perfect light conditions.” I waited outside in -15 degree weather for golden hour. My phone died in three minutes. My regular camera froze. I got one blurry photo of my own breath. The instructor said it had “interesting texture.” I think he was being kind.

I tried making snow ice cream with my kids like my grandmother used to make. We gathered fresh snow, added vanilla and sugar, and it tasted like frozen sadness and car exhaust. Turns out snow in the suburbs isn’t the same as snow on my grandmother’s farm in 1950. My kids asked if we could just have regular ice cream. Even they know when to quit. But I ate mine anyway out of principle. The principle of poor decision-making.

10 Worst Neil deGrasse Tyson Jokes

Neil deGrasse Tyson was fired from his job as a barista because he kept insisting that the coffee cup was actually “mostly empty space.”

Why did Neil deGrasse Tyson break up with his girlfriend? She claimed the Earth was the center of his universe, and he found the assertion unscientific.

What’s Neil’s favorite part of a joke? The part where he fact-checks the premise.

Neil deGrasse Tyson was pulled over for speeding. The officer asked, “Do you know how fast you were going?” Neil said, “I have a general idea, but according to Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, the more accurately I measure my momentum, the less accurately I know my position relative to the patrol car.”

A movie producer told Neil he wanted to make a sci-fi film where a spaceship travels faster than light. Neil said, “I’m sorry, I can only consult on movies where the physics are merely implausible, not fundamentally incorrect.”

I asked Neil deGrasse Tyson what his least favorite planet was. He said, “Pluto. Just kidding, I find its reclassification as a ‘dwarf planet’ perfectly defensible based on its orbit and mass ratio.” (He then smiled very slightly.)

You know you’ve met Neil deGrasse Tyson when your conversation is less about feelings and more about escape velocity.

Neil deGrasse Tyson doesn’t say “Bless you” when you sneeze. He says, “Gesundheit, a fascinating linguistic artifact, though biologically, a sneeze is merely an involuntary expulsion of air.”

What’s Neil’s advice for looking at the bright side? “The bright side is merely a region of high photon flux. Try to maintain a cosmic perspective instead.”

Neil deGrasse Tyson walked into a restaurant and ordered a steak, but then he sent it back. Why? Because the chef claimed it was “out of this world,” and Neil found the statement factually erroneous.

Neil deGrasse Tyson stood up against injustice with a sign in his yard that read: “All Lives are Matter.”

My mom told me Neil deGrasse Tyson was talking about me. I panicked! She clarified, “No, he was talking about how carbon-based life forms are inherently fragile.”

Neil deGrasse Tyson never gets lost. He simply determines his precise coordinates within the observable universe.

What’s Neil’s least favorite type of art? Anything that depicts two people kissing in space without acknowledging the lack of atmospheric pressure.

Neil deGrasse Tyson was asked about his greatest fear. He said, “A scientifically illiterate populace… and also running out of coffee.”

Worst Personality Turn

People who can construct things including art, music or writing find fulfillment and joy in their creations. However, those who can’t, or believe they can’t, tend to use the same energy, but to destroy things.

How can we help redirect people who are destructive into constructive pursuits?

Perhaps if this became a ‘thing,’ the world would be free from bullies, crooked politicians and undesirable people. Maybe helping everyone become constructive would even end warfare.

Worst Way to Assure a Career

Early in his career, Travis Barker decided he wanted to be a drummer so badly that he was willing ta take a huge risk. He wanted to make sure he was unemployable so he couldn’t escape from his dream by taking an ordinary job. So, he got some tattoos on his face. Any prospective employer would look at him and say, “No way.”

Now, Travis had to be a drummer. He had quite purposely eliminated all other choices. For Travis it worked to such a degree that he is world-famous, and has branched out into multi-million dollar merchandising.

I’m not sure I recommend something so drastic for you. On the other hand, many people have fallen short of the life they really wanted because they took the easy way out.

Interesting Facts about Travis Barker

Travis Barker is widely recognized as one of pop-punk’s most influential drummers, but his career, training, and personal life go far beyond blink-182.

  1. He Learned 20 blink-182 Songs in 45 Minutes
When blink-182 parted ways with original drummer Scott Raynor mid-tour in 1998, Barker—who was touring with opening act The Aquabats—stepped in. He memorized a 20-song setlist in under 45 minutes right before going on stage, earning him a permanent spot in the band.
  2. Marching Band & Jazz Training
Barker’s fast, hit-hard playing style comes from extensive formal training. He took drum lessons starting at age four, joined his high school marching band (snare drum), and played in jazz ensembles, which gave him his signature speed and polyrhythmic technique.
  3. He Survived a Deadly Plane Crash in 2008
Barker was one of only two survivors (alongside DJ AM) when a private Learjet crashed during takeoff in Columbia, South Carolina. He suffered third-degree burns covering 65% of his body, underwent 27 surgeries, and spent nearly four months in the hospital.
  4. He Avoided Flying for 13 Years
Following the 2008 crash, Barker developed severe post-traumatic stress disorder and a fear of flying. He traveled strictly by bus or ship for over a decade, only taking his first commercial flight again in 2021 with the support of his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
  5. He Founded the Clothing Brand Famous Stars and Straps
In 1999, he launched Famous Stars and Straps (FSAS), an apparel brand heavily influenced by punk rock, skate culture, and hip-hop. The “F” logo became an iconic staple of early 2000s streetwear.
  6. He’s a Major Hip-Hop Collaborator
Beyond rock, Barker is a sought-after producer and drummer in rap and hip-hop. He recorded a full collaborative album with $uicideboy$, produced Machine Gun Kelly’s pop-punk pivot (Tickets to My Downfall), and has collaborated with Eminem, Lil Wayne, Cypress Hill, and Game.
  7. He Was Once a Trash Collector
Before making it big with blink-182, Barker worked as a trash collector in Laguna Beach, California, while playing in local punk bands like Snot and The Feeble 80s.
  8. Strict Vegan Lifestyle
After surviving his 2008 plane crash, Barker adopted a strict vegan diet to aid his recovery and maintain his health. He is also an investor in vegan businesses, including the vegan restaurant Crossroads Kitchen in Los Angeles.
  9. Starred in Reality TV Long Before the Kardashians
Before marrying into the Kardashian family in 2022, Barker starred in his own MTV reality show, Meet the Barkers (2005–2006), which chronicled his family life with his then-wife, former Miss USA Shanna Moakler.
  10. His Hands Are Heavily Insured
Because his rapid-fire drumming style relies heavily on wrist and finger stamina—and has led to broken bones and tendon damage over the years—Barker’s hands have reportedly been insured for millions of dollars.

10 Worst Bicycle Jokes

Why did the bicycle fall over? Because it was two tired!

My bike mechanic told me I needed new brakes. I told him, “No breaks! I’m on a tight schedule!”

Why did the bike go to therapy? It had too much chain anxiety.

A cyclist is pulled over by a police officer. The officer says, “Sir, do you know why I pulled you over?” The cyclist replies, “No, officer, I don’t. Was I going too fast?” The officer sighs, “No, you were riding with no hands, no helmet, and you were juggling flaming torches. And you had a parrot on your shoulder yelling obscenities.” The cyclist shrugs, “Well, I was just trying to have some fun!”

I joined a cycling club. The welcome packet included a waiver, a map, and a tube of chamois cream.
I’m still not sure if I joined a sports club or a cult with suspiciously smooth thighs.

I went on a blind date with a cyclist.
Everything was going great until she said, “I only date people who can hold 22 mph on a climb.”
I said, “I only date people who believe in gravity.”

Why did the bicycle break up with the treadmill?
Because it couldn’t handle a relationship that went nowhere.

I asked my date if she wanted to go tandem biking.
She said she preferred relationships where one person wasn’t doing all the work.

My bike has more gear than I do.
Seriously, it’s got 21 speeds, disc brakes, and electronic shifting.
Meanwhile, I’m riding in gym shorts and praying I remembered deodorant.

My bike got stolen last week.
The thief left a note: “Sorry, but this ride deserved better than you.”

Cyclists are like cats.
They’re sleek, independent, occasionally hissy, and when they fall, they pretend it was on purpose.

My friend bought a $5,000 bike and now rides 3 miles every other Sunday.
At that rate, he’ll break even sometime in the 28th century.

I got pulled over on my bike for speeding.
I asked the cop if I was really going that fast. He said, “No, but your outfit is a crime.”

I tried group riding, but the only thing I learned was how to apologize while gasping,
“Sorry… can’t keep up…”

My bike is like my therapist.
It listens without judgment, supports me when I’m down, and lets me scream into the wind without anyone calling the police.

I asked a cyclist how long it takes to get used to the saddle.
He said, “About six months. Then the numbness becomes part of your personality.”

You know you’re a cyclist when your tan lines look like you fell asleep in a cage.

My kid asked why I ride my bike so much.
I said, “Because it’s the only time I can hear my own thoughts.”
He said, “That’s sad, Dad.”
I said, “I know. Now go fetch my helmet.”
